These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Third Party Plugins

Like most WordPress websites we use third-party plugins to build and maintain our site. All plugin developers must comply with the GDPR as well. They are developing solutions to stay compliant. For our part, we are pruning and limiting third-party plugins to those truly relevant to our website functionality and updating and following each plugins’ GDPR solutions.

We use Google Analytics and cookies to help us provide a better service to our customers. Google Analytics does not track the full IP. We do maintain web access/server logs that are accessed only by the site owner and website administrator. Who we share your data with

We never sell your data to third parties. If you are using Dr. Journal Club as part of an institutional access license (for example your university purchases access and you log in through the university account) we may provide overall user data to the institution if requested so they can track how well used the resources is. We will not share individual-level data however.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
